The short version. The scanner fetches the address you type, reads the public HTML, and shows you the result. We do not store your scans, we do not use cookies, we do not run analytics, and there is nothing to sign up for.

Who operates this site

ubagprotocol.com is operated by Dixit Algorizmi Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at medhmida1990@gmail.com.

What happens when you run a scan

You submit a website address.
Our server requests that address twice: once identifying as an ordinary browser, and once identifying as an AI agent, so we can tell you whether the two are treated differently.
We read the publicly served HTML of that page and analyse its metadata.
We return the result to your browser.

The scan is read-only. We never modify the site being scanned, and we do not log in, submit forms, or access anything that is not publicly served.

What we store

Scan results: not stored. They are produced for your request and discarded. We do not keep a history of scanned sites.
No cookies and no analytics. The pages load no third-party scripts, tracking pixels, or advertising tags.
No accounts. There is nothing to register for, so we do not hold names, passwords, or payment details.

Information handled automatically

Rate limiting. We keep your IP address briefly in server memory to enforce a limit on scans per address. It is not written to a database and does not survive a restart.
Server logs. Like any web server, ours records requests, which includes the requesting IP address and the address being scanned. These logs exist for security and troubleshooting.

An IP address can be personal information under some laws, including Canadian privacy law and the GDPR. We handle it only for the two purposes above.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade any information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law.

Third parties

The site is served through infrastructure providers who process requests on our behalf. When you run a scan, our server contacts the website you asked us to check. We do not send your information to that site beyond an ordinary web request.

Your rights

Because we do not hold accounts or stored scan history, there is generally no personal profile to access or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will respond.

Changes

If we change what the service does with information, we will update this page and the date above.
